Achievement
Haikal’s Achievements:
- Established an administrative Office in Freetown and Operational Offices in the South and the North of Sierra Leone;
- Has a fully functional Board of Directors;
- Developed its second five-year Strategic Plan 2016 -2020;
- Established two safe-motherhood clinics in Bo City and Magburaka Town;
- Established two Fistula Hostels in Bo and Magburaka;
- Built the Haikal Academy in Bo City which runs a nursery, primary and secondary school;
- Has a team of qualified, fully committed and result-oriented staffing and other human resources requirements for effective programming in place; and
- Has proactively contributed towards poverty reduction by providing education, health care and livelihood skills services to targeted vulnerable groups with special focus on girls/women.
