Haikal’s six (6) thematic field of work include the following:
Health
[runs two safe clinics in Bo and Magburaka, two hostels for fistula patients at the same locations, and promotes awareness /social mobilization campaigns on Maternal and Sexual Reproductive Health];
Livelihood & Women Empowerment
[Skills training in Catering, Food Security and Nutrition, House Keeping, Looming and Income Generating Activities (IGA) towards improved livelihood and economic empowerment for vulnerable women and girls, especially those affected by obstetric fistula plus in and out of school];
Education
(Run’s a Haikal’s academy – Pre/ Primary/ Secondary schools in Bo City; and Tech-Voc in Bo and Magburaka);
Child Sponsorship
Increased sponsorship and family-based care and support for Orphans
Sustainable environment for all
Increased response support to environmental sustainability
Emergency Responses
Increased level of response support in emergency and post-emergency recovery situations
